Le groupe est n\u00e9 au sein du Cercle Celtique Eskell an Elorn (E.E.) de Landerneau en 1998, o\u00f9 Daniel KEROUANTON et Maurice MINGAM \u00e9taient d\u00e9j\u00e0 danseurs.<\/strong><\/p>\n

La formation musicale qui accompagnait le Cercle \u00e9tait MENTREL, dirig\u00e9 par Patrice CAOUISSIN.
\nSous l’impulsion de celui-ci, une section de chant \u00e0 danser fut cr\u00e9\u00e9e. Notre premi\u00e8re prestation en public eut lieu au fest deiz de Collorec, avec sur l’affiche : \u00ab\u00a0les chanteurs Eskell et An Elorn\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n

En 1999, le duo choisit son nom de sc\u00e8ne \u00ab\u00a0KEFFIOU\u00a0\u00bb (qui n’est pas le pluriel de kef, mais un simple clin d’\u0153il \u00e0 la danse collect\u00e9e pr\u00e8s de Landerneau).<\/strong> Daniel est landern\u00e9en, Maurice, originaire de Guiclan (en pays Chelgen), habite Plou\u00e9dern. En 2001, un troisi\u00e8me comp\u00e8re, originaire de Landeleau, Andr\u00e9 GESTIN, rejoint le groupe.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Depuis, notre trio de kan ha diskan, anime r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement les festou deiz et festou noz de la r\u00e9gion. <\/strong>
\nL’essentiel pour nous est de prendre plaisir \u00e0 chanter et que les danseurs se sentent \u00e0 l’aise.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nous accompagnons le Cercle lors de ses d\u00e9placements (festivals, new-york, Pays de Galles, Allemagne…). <\/strong>
\nEn effet, Daniel et Maurice ont \u00e9t\u00e9 danseurs dans le groupe sc\u00e9nique, Andr\u00e9 est porte-drapeau.<\/p>\n

Maurice anime l’atelier d’initiation au chant \u00e0 danser au sein de l’Association.
\nDepuis 2021, il chante \u00e9galement avec PAOTRED PAGAN (groupe vocal d’hommes chantant en breton) et dans la chorale mixte de Plou\u00e9dern, Sevenadur d’an Oll (apr\u00e8s 12 ans \u00e0 la chorale du Menhir de Plabennec).<\/p>\n

Pour nous, le breton, avec son \u00ab\u00a0pouez mouezh\u00a0\u00bb adapt\u00e9, est indissociable des danses bretonnes.<\/strong>
\nNous chantons sans accompagnement musical, dans nos propres tonalit\u00e9s, sans sophistication, avec un tempo bien marqu\u00e9, dans une langue compr\u00e9hensible.<\/strong>
\nNous n’avons pas eu un seul ma\u00eetre de chant, mais plut\u00f4t vingt ou trente, gr\u00e2ce aux possibilit\u00e9s offertes par les
\ntechnologies d’enregistrement depuis quelques dizaines d’ann\u00e9es et aux sonorit\u00e9s qui ont berc\u00e9 notre enfance.
\n\u00ab\u00a0Gant KEFFIOU, plijus eo an dansou\u00a0\u00bb (avec keffiou, les danses sont plaisantes).<\/strong>
\nNotre r\u00e9pertoire actuel est constitu\u00e9 \u00e0 plus de 80% par des chants en breton. Il nous permet d’interpr\u00e9ter plus de quarante danses et suites diff\u00e9rentes.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Notre premier enregistrement, sorti en novembre 2014<\/a>, s’intitule \u00ab\u00a0SACHOMP WARNI\u00a0\u00bb (tirons dessus=allons-y \u00e0 fond), comporte 16 danses.<\/strong>
